Intoducing...

Zachary James Healy Ross! born 2:08pm on valentines day by c/s. 3.95kg, 35.5cm head circumference, 53cm long.

He was not the prettiest bub on arrival - with meconium suggesting the c/s was a good idea.


After some cuddles with mum, he had to spend about 20 minutes in the incubator as he had some slight respiratory distress.


But he recovered well, and quickly, and was able to have special dad time.


And by the end of the day, he was looking a lot more handsome - and very content.

Update on the boy

There is no update - nothing happening. Now 41 weeks and counting...
Mum has tried all the usual tricks - but a comfy home, is a comfy home.

2 years, 9 months

Best month so far. Bronte has been an absolute delight this month - not a single time out, her favourite game is the "I love you" game (I love you to the moon and back, the fridge and back etc), she is eating well, sleeping well, and just being incredibly gorgeous. She is getting very close to toilet trained (wees are pretty good), and still waits very excitedly for her baby brother. She really enjoys reading stories to herself - mixing up the memory of the tale with her own imagination of what is happening. Similarly, she continually makes up her own song and dance routines. A joy!

The next few weekends are full of birthday parties - this is the first at Amelia's 2nd.
