Beach trip

The weather was perfect so we headed up the coast for one of those glorious beach days. Bronte likes the waves now, and Zach has always liked them, which has changed our beach experiences markedly. Our girl is now a real surfer chick.

Goggles!

With Bronte getting much braver in the water, there were goggles under the christmas tree. The first test, the bath tub, was a success.

Zoe's back!

10 days without your friend is a long time for a three and a half year old.

Final farewells

We popped into Aunty Catriona's to have a quick play with the cousins and say a final farewell to great Aunty Ross and Uncle Rolf before they headed back to WA.

Mummy-daughter time

With her brother demanding continuous attention I felt there had not been enough mummy-daughter time. So, we had a special morning out, getting all dressed up then catching the bus into town. The christmas windows were still up, which were great to watch. We then needed to stop for a special treat or two. Bronte had her own Paris purse, with pocket money, which she used to buy a rainbow pen. It was a lovely morning!

Christmas only comes twice

With Christmas at the Healy's, there remained some presents still to open. The Aunties and the cousins did well - with a great book, backpack, camel and big ted (that Zachy loves).

Brunch

The corn fritters with bacon, avocado, and grilled grape tomatoes suitably impressed the Great Aunty and Uncle over from WA.

Riding in the new year

Bronte is almost up to a real bike, but in the meantime, she rode more than a km on the three wheels.
