The prep concert

The preparations in Prep G for "The Sleepy Shepard" - a play designed for 12 kids, being performed by ~100 preps. Somewhat ambitious, but it was wonderful. Bronte and he best friend Will started the show, dancing as the two wooly sheep who can't stand still. As I was telling her how proud I was of her, she said "Mum, I like being brave - it lets you do a lot more fun stuff". Indeed.

Zach was very well behaved at my work Christmas party -- for about 90 minutes. Then his true character needed to burst out.

Swimming!

A term of swimming lessons has transformed Bronte into a water child. We have now joined the local country club (not as fancy as what it sounds: mainly it is about pools), which has meant swimming at least once a day. Zach still not quite ready to put his head under water, but is a monkey monkey champion.
