In further evidence of the transition that Bronte has made since Prep (where the teacher had to carry her around the oval), Bronte finished a strong 11th (out of ~50 girls) in the cross country race after muscling her way to make sure she started in the front pack.

First hockey game!

The team went down 17-0... but a huge amount of fun was had by all, and the girls improved throughout the game. Bronte was an absolute star - her natural defensive tendencies put to a very firm test. I was so proud of all my girls.

My first beach fishing with my girl - with her casting out herself and catching two fish (dart) all by herself. Very happy moment.

Little A's

End of a super fun season of Little Athletics. Good to have Friday nights back, but I will miss the gang. Bronte's best event this season? Discus - entirely appropriate with her disc throwing parents.
