Counihan to the Max

Bronte got to meet Canadian Max (4 months), as well as Ella, out at Mt Crosby. Congratulations Michelle and Nick!

The next stage

Bronte started childcare this week. There were a few tears - but all from Dad, as Bronte has settled in very well and seems to really enjoy it. She goes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Bubba, as well as Milly and Peggy Sue, got to attend childcare.

Watch out for Lochie the cuddle monkey!

1st Birthday Party

Bronte had a wonderful 1st birthday party at Anzac Park. She was utterly spoilt - and loves all her books, Clobber the bear, Jeffrey the Dog, Albert the duck, all the people on the bus, the crazy ball, and the golf set, and looks very styling in her fancy bonds outfit.

Mum decorated the birthday cake with one of Bronte's favourite things. Bronte also quite liked the cake.

Bronte has inherited her father's circadian rhythm of late to bed, late to rise

1 year old!

Bronte got to pick out her present on her birthday - meet bubba.


Cupcake for the birthday girl after a birthday dinner with the neighbors. On her birthday, Bronte stood alone for ~10 seconds, and has added "zombie" to her trick repertoire. She can now point out several different things in her books and around the room (e.g. giraffe) and investigating / putting things in and out of drawers, and pushing things around the room are her favourite pastimes. This month she has also learnt the tantrum when things are taken off her / she doesn't get her way!

Mother's day

After a lovely breakfast, mothers day was spent in the park with Grandad and Tadhg

Kate, Derek, & Ava, and Nat & Showkat came over for takeaway. Ava demonstrates the way on her "new" buzzy bee - it is amazing what you can find on the streets of South Yarra...
