11 months - what's the point?
Pointing has entered our lives - with Bronte discovering the joy of showing us what she wants to look at / eat/ play with / get closer too... It has also meant that she can now identify several objects in her books and around the room, including cats ("at"), dog ("og or woo woo"), drink (hhe hhe), bees, snails, stars, the fan etc. Along with these new communication skills comes the minor temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way / we don't understand what she wants. She is not walking yet - but does cruise along the furniture pretty rapidly. Bronte is also up to the next phase in her life - the babysit - where she has been successful babysat twice now (once when mum and dad weren't even around!).

The Noosa River Trip
We have spent the last week on the Noosa river - luckily escaping before it rained 450ml on the Thursday! Bronte absolutely loved the river and the sand, and has been suffering from post-holiday blues. She also experienced a big developmental jump this week - particularly aided by the skill of pointing.

Working on standing. This was happening a lot.
Koala hunting in the national park - and yep, we saw one.
