We got to see Henry and Lucy's new home. Everybody got stuck into helping out in the wonderful garden.

Vancouver-Victoria

Canada - still day 1

The gorgeous Max (15 months) - so grown up from her last Aussie visit (see May 09).Parents Michelle and Nick cured our travel tiredness with their incredible hospitality.

Canada - day 1.

Started with a mechanical 1hr delay with QANTAS (during which Bronte practiced her seat jumping) - which meant that we missed the connecting flight to Vancouver. We arrived (via Seattle) 7 hours later than scheduled. Bronte was amazing on the trip - even a scratched cheek didn't really unsettle here - she just kept requesting "more plane"!

Bye bye house

Packed and out of there - the house is empty in preparation for the renovations. And no, the safety tape isn't new - that is one of the reasons for the reno. The reno will have it's own blog tbc.

23 months

Miss Bronte has turned on the charm this month - even more so than before. She can string 5-6 word sentences together, name herself and her parents (mumma ross, tony/daddy ross), and put her own shoes on. She has started saying "look mumma!" and "what's that?" - and, perhaps most exciting - has put herself to sleep and has slept through the night. She is very good at describing what is around her (ants running, koala sleeping), and what she is doing (I am eating dinner!) She is likes naming things, and possessions - though things are mostly hers (mine), other labels have emerged (Al's car, grandma's car, Bronte's car).
