Circus party!

Tadhg hosted his party at Flipside circus. Somewhat surprisingly, Zach was too shy to try most of the things, but it was wonderful to see Bronte confidently have a go.

That is what I call a kids platter!

Plus milkshake in a dog shaped cup. They know their audience.

Zach had a wonderful party. With all the usual Friday school gang, plus his mates, there were around 30 kids at the party - insane. And although I was suggesting that Bronte's school mates who came were rent-a-crowd, in reality, they all love playing with Zach (and Zach with them).

We have a 3 year old boy

I think when boys turn three, there is a superhero gene that gets turned on, as suddenly there is a lot of interest in spiderman, batman, and playing superheroes. Zach has also started asking not just why? but specific - often quite random - questions. Some of the questions I have been asked on the drive home from childcare include:
Why can you only touch jellyfish on the bottom?
Why do we have lips?
Why does soap make bubbles?
Why are octopuses sticky? and, what do octopuses eat?
Why do motorcycles go fast?
Why does Captain Hook have a sword?
What are teeth made of?

I will add to them as I remember...

Birthday lego

Lucky Zach got some awesome lego for his birthday from Aunty Jenny. What he loved most though was then building it with her - for Jenny's first lego building experience (apparently), she was a natural at it.
