A close shave

After discovering Zach attempting to shave with the real thing, I bought him "Mr Bubbles" in the US - a pretend shaving kit. Bronte has also had a go, exclaiming "feel my face! it is so smooth!".

Under the sea party

A back to back school party weekend with Laura's 6th birthday celebrations. Check out the awesome cake!

A fairy princess party

Bronte's school girl friends all pinked up for the princess party of Amelie. Although boys were not invited, Zach - having just seen me get off the plane 3 hours earlier - was not going to let me out of sight just yet. 

US trip no.1

Enjoying some huevos rancheros and some gator from Bubs BBQ in the not so deep south of Amherst (a few hours south of Boston). This was the first of two US trips in the space of a month. 

Winter?!

Apparently, the water is still fine at Rocks Riverside, as the trike gang head off in the distance. 

After school monkeys

Friday after school = iceblock and playground play, along with ~500 other kids.

Friday is with the crew

Fridays is typically spent at Rocks Riverside, with the frisbee gang - Henry and Oliver. 

Making beds

Lately all the pillows and cushions in the house have been piled high for run and dives, but tonight it was making beds, and pretend dinners.

We have misplaced our camera so the last few weeks have been old iphone efforts - but this is a drawing of me - by Zach! It is that magic moment when they switch from slashes of lines across the page, to recognisable shapes.

Kindy friend catch up

Broken arms and date errors meant that the kindy friends missed Bronte's party. But, it made for an excellent excuse for a catch up and concentrated play.
