Going westside

Another successful multi-mission journey. A gorgeous afternoon for another river play, a farewell to Aunty Terri before her WA adventure, a cooking experience, and a test drive (our silver car got written off by a truck while parked, so we are in the market again - boohoo). Stopping at Colleges Crossing - it was a stark reminder of the floods just past, with the lower reaches still not fixed up with whole trees still on the picnic shelters.

To celebrate my birthday, Zach and I took the ferry around to Bulimba for a park play, a milkshake and a cake, and a spot of shopping. A perfect morning.

On the list of requests for a glorious afternoon was a play in the park, a visit to a river, fish and chips, and seeing Nanna. All was able to be achieved at the park just down the road from Nanna's: perfect planning.

A final scoot and catch up with Ava and Finn while they were up in Brisbane.

At the waterpark

School holidays meant a bigger gang at the water park - with a bunch of the frisbee and offspring hanging out. And yes - it was cold - but swimming was still very much on the cards.

Disney on ice!

Thanks to a scheduling clash Zoe and Bronte got to go to Disney on ice. It far exceeded my expectations, and the girls just loved it. 

Snow time!

I think this almost exactly what Sweden is like in winter - right? Southbank blew the fake snow and we got to make snowballs and snowmen. Which made me think we had better go see the real thing one day.
